CrossBar is an American soccer news network focused on covering the latest on the United States Mens National Team, Major League Soccer, and the New York Red Bulls. The publication was focused on providing quality, featured content around it’s target coverage while aggregating top content from the Soccer culture’s best and brightest news networks.
The brand’s focus on beautiful imagery and innovative layout was it’s core strength when launching.
Timeline
The project began in the summer of 2016 during the Copa America tournament. From concept to rollout – the brainstorming and build process lasted roughly four weeks.
Tech Stack
Built using WordPress — the website’s needs leaned towards creating beautiful content while retaining a responsive layout and speedy load times. The inclusion of an easy-to-use visual builder allowed the editorial staff to take control of their content and layout without the need for code.
